Featured success story: Urban video surveillance in Alhaurín de la Torre
NPS Seguridad’s flagship project is the implementation of a comprehensive urban video surveillance and traffic management system in Alhaurín de la Torre, a municipality in the province of Málaga. A project that required advanced technology, integration with local security services, and a robust architecture capable of operating under intensive and continuous use conditions.
The result was a system that today covers more than 80% of the municipality’s main avenues through cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence for automatic vehicle identification and direct support for police operations. A solution that goes far beyond conventional video surveillance.

Intelligent Coverage
The cameras integrate video analytics with AI for license plate identification, anomalous behavior detection, and real-time alert generation. The system provides security forces with an effective, agile, and permanently available police support tool.
Sustainability and Energy Autonomy
The project incorporates autonomous systems powered by solar panels, which reduces dependence on the electrical grid and allows coverage deployment in areas where conventional cabling is not viable. A solution designed for both operational efficiency and environmental impact.

Featured infrastructure success story: Menorca Photovoltaic Plant
The Son Salomó Photovoltaic Park in Menorca is a strategic infrastructure dedicated to renewable energy production, reaching 50 MWp and more than 15,000 solar panels across approximately 10 hectares. Due to the importance of its facilities, it requires a protection system capable of guaranteeing the security of all its assets 24 hours a day.
To meet this need, we designed a comprehensive security solution based on more than 100 devices including thermal cameras, intrusion detection systems, and intelligent alarms. The project effectively protects the infrastructure, reinforcing operational continuity and security of one of the island’s main photovoltaic plants.
