Son Salomó: Protecting the Future of Solar Energy in Menorca

The Son Salomó Photovoltaic Park in Menorca is prepared for a safer future, thanks to the installation of an advanced CCTV System in Photovoltaic Park in Menorca by NPS Seguridad. With the launch of this park, a significant step has been taken towards the island’s energy sovereignty. NPS Seguridad has contributed to ensuring the security of this impressive installation that will reach a production of 50 Megawatts (MWp).

The Son Salomó Photovoltaic Park has become a giant in terms of renewable energy generation. With a capacity of 50 MWp equivalent to the energy needed for 16,000 homes, multiplying by 10 the photovoltaic capacity of the island and bringing closer the ambitious challenge of achieving energy independence for Menorca and the Balearic Islands.

High-tech CCTV System in Photovoltaic Park

NPS Seguridad has installed a comprehensive security system with more than 100 devices including anti-intrusion systems, alarms, and thermographic cameras from leading brands such as Risco and Dahua. The installation covers 10 hectares and protects more than 15,000 panels.

With this installation, NPS strengthens its leadership in the protection of large enclosures and areas, critical facilities, and other major investments with advanced security systems.
